On 19 August 2009, the Division of Exit-entry Administration of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau conducted the examination of “illegally inbound, illegally resident and illegally employed” foreigners, together with multiple police forces and departments including Anti-drug Brigade of Criminal Investigation Detachment of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau, Exit-entry Administration Office of Luohu Branch, Exit-entry Administration Office of Longgang Branch, Nanhu Police Station, and the reserve force for examination of “illegally inbound, illegally resident and illegally employed” foreigners of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau. The action involved 45 policemen, 10 cars, one explosive dog, and drug detection dog. Five African “illegally inbound, illegally resident and illegally employed” foreigners were investigated. In particular, four small bags of marijuana were seized from one foreigner. The Division of Exit-entry Administration lawfully detained and checked the said five persons on the early morning of 20 August.
The said case is in further investigation at present.
