We Seized 16 Foreigners Who Engaged in Activities Inconsistent with Their Visas

  On 26 August, Division of Exit-entry Administration of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau seized 14 Indonesian women and two Philippine women, who engaged in activities inconsistent with their visas, at Cambridge Garden, Buji Street, Longgang District in the examination of “illegally inbound, illegally resident and illegally employed” foreigners.
  Recently, the Division of Exit-entry Administration found the said 16 foreigners lived at the same address while inspecting the information of foreigners newly registered. On the morning of 26 August, the Division, together with 10 policemen of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau Longgang Branch, made onsite investigation at Cambridge Garden, Buji Street. Upon investigation, the 16 foreigners came to China to wait for the work visas handled by the Hong Kong intermediary for working as family servants in Hong Kong rather than traveling.
  As the 16 foreigners were suspected of engaging in the activities inconsistent with their visas, the Division of Exit-entry Administration shortened their retention period in China according to laws and regulations.
