The day 21 September is the traditional “Festival of Fast-breaking” of the minorities of the Islam in China. In order to ensure the security work during the “Festival of Fast-breaking”, our leaders attached great importance, prepared the security work scheme, set up the security leadership group headed by Deputy CPC Secretary and Deputy Director Shen Shaobao of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau, and set up an onsite headquarters for security work at the mosque at Meilin Road, Futian District.
　　By 10 a.m. that day, over 20,000 Chinese and foreign Muslims came to the mosque at Meilin Road in succession to participate in the celebration. We dispatched over 250 policemen to maintain order on the site, all of whom had carefully fulfilled their duties, guaranteeing the success of the activity. By 10:30 a.m., all religious rituals of the “Festival of Fast-Breaking” had been over, and the Muslims left away in order.
