On 6 November 2009, Division of Exit-entry Administration of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau deported two illegally resident Nigerians from Guangzhou Airport.
On 13 August, Exit-entry Administration Office of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau Nanshan seized a foreign man without any valid certificate in the examination of “illegally inbound, illegally resident and illegally employed” foreigners, and transferred him to us for lawful custody and check. Upon investigation, the said person was named Obi Ifeanyi Anthony, was born on 6 June 1975, was of Nigerian nationality, and held the passport numbered A2915330A. On 26 January 2008, he entered China via Beijing Capital Airport by a visitor visa numbered C6060023, with the valid retention period of 30 days. By the time when the foreigner was seized, the visa had been overdue for 534 days, so he had constituted illegal residence crime.
On 19 August, Exit-entry Administration Office of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau Luohu Branch seized a foreign man without any valid identity certificate in the examination of “illegally inbound, illegally resident and illegally employed” foreigners, and transferred him to us for lawful custody and check on 20 August. Upon investigation, the said person was named Okorie Livuns Johnson, was born on 12 August 1976, was of Nigerian nationality, and had lost his passport. On 28 March 2008, he entered China via Beijing Capital Airport, with the valid retention period of 30 days. By the time when the foreigner was seized, the visa had been overdue for 479 days, so he had constituted illegal residence crime.
The above two persons engaged in electronic products and clothes businesses in Shenzhen, and gave their passports to the intermediary for visa extension by proxy. But they could not contact the intermediary, with their passports lost. The said two persons had confessed their illegal residence. After check, according to relevant laws, we assigned the policemen to deport the two persons from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport on 6 November.
